Created in 2003, « La Napoule Excellence » groups together the high level tourism professionals of Mandelieu-La Napoule. In a combined effort to maintain the highest level of professionalism in both services and hospitality, the members of La Napoule Excellence Club intend to work together to guarantee the perfect realization of your events in La Napoule, a unique destination in a pristine setting on the French Riviera.The Club offers the finest luxury hotel facilities, recognized gastronomy, prestige yachting harbour, cultural and hospitality havens, as well as leisure, relaxation and conviviality services. To ensure the promotion of Mandelieu-La Napoule worldwide and make its distinctive assets better known, the tourist office partners with the Club. - Restaurant L’Oasis L’Oasis Restaurant, emblematic of the French Riviera and located in La Napoule across from the yachting harbour, was founded in 1954 by Louis Outhier, who studied with Fernand Point. In March 1992, the Michelin red guide awarded two stars to Stéphane Raimbault’s restaurant. On 30 April 1999, Stéphane was able to fulfil his dream: with his brother François, he bought this establishment with its glorious past. At the dawn of the third millennium, a new Oasis was born: after major renovation works and the modification and creation of new spaces, it has changed its appearance, with attractive top-quality decoration ensuring comfort and modernism. - Le Château de La Napoule A seigniorial home of the Counts of Villeneuve until the French Revolution, the fortress, then in ruins, was purchased in 1918 by Henry and Marie Clews. Charmed by the picturesque site, the Clews rebuilt the castle according to their very personal interpretation of mediaeval architectural traditions. Surrounded by high ivy-clad ramparts, the formal ‘à la française’ gardens designed by Marie Clews provide a harmonious combination of classical and romantic references. - Golf "Old Course" First Golf Course of the French Riviera, it was created in 1891 by the Grand Duke Michel of Russia. During a journey in Scotland, discovering St Andrews, the capital of Golf, he did not remain insensible in this original and fascinating discipline and decided to import it in the most beautiful place he knows, the Riviera. He easily chooses the place: some hectares in the sea edge protected from the heats of the sun by a forest of pine trees: the pine forest of Mandelieu. Nature is here omnipresent and it is the most important for the Grand Duke. One “9 holes” course, a realization that the Grand Duke watches attentively, takes shape. In spring, 1891, the links of the Cannes Golf Club are finished and the first players begin to reserve their departures.
