Your week-end « Mimosa Festival » includes:
- 3 days / 2 nights in hotel formula with breakfasts included.
- Your seat in tribune for the great parade of the Sunday afternoon.
- Fanfares, folk groups and street artists will delight the spectators at the rhythm of the floats decorated with mimosa.
- Excursion « From Mimosa to perfume» (by bus with a local guide): You will go from Mandelieu to Tanneron to meet a mimosa producer then you will go to Grasse to visit a perfume factory using the mimosa to create its essences.
- Discovery of La Napoule:
- Guided visit of the village by a hostess of the tourist office.
- Guided tour of the château of La Napoule bought and rebuilt in 1918 by a couple of American artists, Henry and Marie Clews. They made of the chateau a living “souvenir” of their love. The visit of the chateau, of the museum and of its gardens affords to discover the works of this amazing couple.
Our suggestions during your week-end:
- Discover how the parade is prepared by visiting the decoration of the floats (arrival essential in the morning of the Saturday), ask for your badge.
- The Provence crafts market, February 12th to 14th and 19th to 21nd, free entrance from 10am to 7pm.
