Next edition: from 9th to 11th of November 2007

At first, 2007 is the 5th birthday of the launching of Sputnik. A birthday which can be forgotten in Mandelieu-La Napoule, important stay of manufacture of satellite and space probe. Sputnik opened the door of the Space conquest.

2007 is the Centenary of the helicopter and the International Polar Year. A special occasion to evoke the Concordia Program on which the Observatory and the University of “Cote d’Azur” are deeply involved.

Others themes broached during the 3 days of the event:

• The ISS: Europe is going to complete the construction with Columbus and regular flights of the ATV.
• The Solar System exploration with debates and conferences.
• The Sun with the Stereo information.
• The details of the Pluto Affair
