Visiocarte circuits in the Tanneron massif

Circuits 1 to 5
The Communal Forest of the Grand Duke
It is located on the slopes of the Tanneron massif, a few minutes away from Mandelieu-La Napoule which it overlooks at an altitude that varies from between 250 and 475 metres.
The Communal Forest of the Grand Duke offers hikers who roam its tracks and trails splendid escapes on the coastline with the landscapes of La Napoule Gulf below. From January to March the flowering mimosas fills the forest!
After a track start which is shared by 5 routes, you arrive at a developed site with picnic tables. From this space, there are 5 different circuits, all in a loop.
Note that the circuit N1, the Discovery Route is lined with 46 documented and illustrated terminals in the biodiversity guide available from the Tourist Office or for download on our website.
Circuit 6
The Vernède Valley
Nestled in the hills of the district of Capitou, this park is part of the new GR51 hiking route. The Vernède stream which empties into the Siagne River, is crossed by a small bridge which marks the beginning of the ascension of the Tanneron Massif. By continuing this walk through the mimosas and eucalyptus trees, and then on the fire trails of the massif, without particular difficulty you then join the access to the hiking circuits in the communal forest of the Grand Duke.
This walk is particularly pleasant during the mimosa flowering period, from January to March. As a famous mimosa grower recalls, "The Mimosa that brightens, which scents and thrills will always be a symbol of the Côte d'Azur. It is the only flower that brings the brilliance of its colours and the delicacy of its perfume in the middle of the winter."
