Eating on the beach in Mandelieu
My favorite places, feet in the sand
If there is one little pleasure that I never deny myself in the summer, it is this one: eat at the beach. The sun, the sand underfoot, the sound of the waves, a cold glass in one hand, a plate that smells of the South in the other.
And in Mandelieu, we are lucky to have stylish and charming addresses to prolong the moment. I share it with you here my favorites for lunch, chilling or dinner by the water, without ever straying far from the sea.
???? Baia Beach – Bohemian chic on Rague beach
Baia Plage is a little the private beach we all dream of visiting in the summer.
The ambiance is soft, with driftwood and beige cushions. People come here for brunch, lunch, dinner, to lounge around, or to have a drink at sunset, in a super-elegant but unfussy seaside atmosphere.
On the plate side, fresh produce, a sunny kitchen, a really good spot for a break away from time, far from the crowds.

🌴 Playa Chica – Riviera spirit and very fresh rosé
Playa Chica is an address that mixes good vibes and generous plates.
Chic tropical decor, super friendly staff, and a menu that's just what you need: grilled fish, crisp salads, fruity cocktails... It's the kind of place where you come as much to eat as to enjoy the moment.
Special mention for the aperitif at the end of the day, when the light turns golden and the music turns up a notch.

🌴 Cala Mia – The cool address by the water
Cala Mia is the perfect place for lunch with friends or dinner for two, just after the beach.
The atmosphere is a little more laid-back, with a "sunset & mojito" vibe. With our feet in the sand and sunglasses on, we share tapas, snack boards, and fresh, colorful dishes.
It's lively, joyful, a little bohemian – and always delicious.

💙 Favorite: Dolce Farniente – The taste of vacation at the port
And then… there is Dolce Farniente.
Installed at the port of La Napoule, this small private cabin/beach has that little extra soul that makes the difference. The view of the Château de La Napoule, vintage decor and family cuisine.
This is my go-to place when I want to get away from it all. Whether you're having lunch alone or with friends, the atmosphere is perfect: soft, chic, but always warm.
