Mont San Peyre, or the Sacred Mountain, is an 18-hectare departmental park. A 3.4 km long footpath leads to the summit, traversing a gentle slope through pine, cork oak, and mimosa trees . The botanical trail allows visitors to discover the listed plants, trees, and shrubs.
Once you arrive, you'll discover the ruins of the old Villeneuve Castle and a 360° view of the Gulf of La Napoule, the Lérins Islands , and the Esterel Massif . Perfect for a photo shoot to share on Instagram!
It's also a great route for runners . A marked trail has been laid out over 2 km on the ascent of San Peyre. This is yet another reason to introduce the area to the more athletic, with the reward of an exceptional panoramic view of the sea and the hinterland.
