Saint-Fainéant Festival 2026

The Saint Fainéant festival returns with a beautiful festive program on the Château Beach and Henry Clews Avenue.

The tradition returns on May 24, 2026 in the village of La Napoule.

Many activities are planned to celebrate the arrival of the Lazy King on the Château Beach and in the heart of La Napoule: activities throughout the afternoon, a parade through the village with the Lazy King in a fanfare, a large table in the evening with sardine feasts, a concert, a craft market and food trucks.

TODAY'S PROGRAM

14pm - 18pm - Children's Activities - Castle Beach

On the agenda: an afternoon packed with games and activities for children, in partnership with Pitchoun Media. Inflatable structures, wooden games, a general knowledge quiz, board games like those on TV, giant games, and "do it yourself" workshops, not to mention the ever-popular face painting! Every child will be a winner and will leave with prizes! All this will culminate in a festive end with a dance party where children can dance with the mascots to popular and original music and choreography by Pitchoun.

17:30 pm: Departure of the Lazy King from the rowing base on a sea yawl with members of the Cannes-Mandelieu Rowing Club

18 p.m. - Arrival of the Lazy King

Everyone will gather to give a proper welcome to His Majesty the Lazy King, accompanied by a brass band, circus jugglers, and fire-eaters. He will parade through the streets of La Napoule with his flock to a reception hosted by the City on Avenue Henry Clews.

• 18 p.m. - Night Market
Henry Clews Avenue will host its night market where you can discover local and artisanal products in a festive atmosphere. Food trucks will also be on site for those with a sweet tooth!

• 18:30 p.m. - Reception - Avenue Henry Clews

• 19pm - Sardine Feast - Large Table
The Leisure Club and the town of Mandelieu invite you to join them on the beach for a delicious sardine barbecue in good company. The COJEM association will be running the refreshment stand throughout the event.


20:30 pm: Concert and dance party on the beach
End this beautiful day with music from the band Bagasso! Composed of six musicians, the group offers a repertoire with Caribbean sounds, somewhere between Cuba and Brazil. A festive moment not to be missed!
