A raceboard is a longboard, 380cm long, 65-70cm wide, with a fin and a mast rail allowing the position of the mast foot to be adjusted while sailing.
Raceboarding is practiced in racing on courses constructed combining upwind sailing using a drift (tactic) and downwind sailing (tactic and speed).
The courses consist of four buoys to be passed during a 30-minute round (target time).
A championship is organized by rounds to be followed over 2 to 5 days where each rider will be classified by accumulating a number of points after each event.
