La Napoule is the area of Mandelieu where history rubs shoulders with modernity.
This once-independent district is brimming with mysteries and activities. Here you'll discover La Napoule Castle , a landmark of the city, as well as Agecroft Castle; the beauty of Mount San Peyre and the ruins of an ancient fortress; and the railway station, built in 1893 thanks to the determination of the influential Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia. Even the legendary Orient Express stopped at La Napoule station, commemorated by an impressive mural that welcomes today's travelers. Another mural invites you to step into Jules Verne's famous Nautilus via an underground passage connecting the platform to the town. You won't regret it!
