Definition

The World Tourism Organization defines sustainable tourism as “tourism that takes full account of its economic, social and current and future environmental challenges, meeting the needs of visitors, professionals, the environment and host communities”

Mandelieu-La Napoule is distinguished by its remarkable natural heritage, with 70% of its territory classified as a protected natural area. Preserving this environment is a major priority for the local community and the Tourist and Convention Bureau.

Committed to sustainable development for several years, the Tourist Office actively works to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. At the same time, it supports and raises awareness among visitors about adopting responsible practices, encouraging them to take action, at their own level, to preserve the destination.
