May by Bike – Allianz Prevention Tour

As part of the 4th edition of the national operation “May à VELO 2024”, the town of Mandelieu-La Napoule in partnership with Jean Paul Stillitano, Allianz general agent, is organizing the Allianz Prévention Tour traveling event on Saturday May 4 2024 on the Place de France square, from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m.

Fun, educational and experimental workshops highlighting everyday risks and ways to reduce them will be accessible all day free to all visitors. They will be supervised by state-certified prevention coaches from UTAC.

• Bicycle awareness track: simulation of the urban environment with its dangers and allowing participants to use bicycles, scooters, etc. guided by prevention coaches. Safety vehicles and equipment will be present such as electric bikes and electric scooters.

• An educational and/or receptive space: virtual reality learning modules allow visitors to learn about road risks, cyber security or even health and safety at work.
- Virtual reality headset on road safety, first aid gestures,
- BATAK reflex test: immersive game which tests participants' reflexes and explains the importance of safety distances.
- The alcohol and dose bar course: animation which allows you to become aware of the impact of alcohol consumption on the central nervous system and more particularly on reflexes and attention. Equipped with simulation glasses and launched on a course, the participant becomes aware of the alteration of the visual field, the increase in reaction time, the visual modification of the surrounding space and all the repercussions induced for health -security on an individual and collective basis.

The Allianz Prévention Tour is a traveling event, launched in 2016, which aims to disseminate prevention messages around road safety and health-related risks (addiction, sport, etc.). This system, unique in France, has already made it possible to raise awareness among more than 50 people in 000 years, including more than 7 in 10, particularly on road safety. In 600 the Allianz Prévention Tour stops in 2022 cities, including the Salon-de-Provence airshow last May.
